The Dress

From Canadian designer '& For Love' this is the Brooklyn 2.0 gown. I believe there are only two bridal boutiques in the whole of the UK that stock this designer so this is a rare find.

With a white silk-style satin lining the dress is completely covered in tiny white sequins, creating an incredible shimmering effect - I literally sparkled in the sunlight and under the disco lights!

Cami style bodice with plunging sides, mermaid silhouette, floor length with mini train.

This gown was originally bought in 2016 from a bridal boutique called "The Lover's Bride" in London. The original owner had some alterations made as below.

- Hem cut (off cuts kept) and also taken up.
- Taken up at the sides to be slightly less revealing.
- Bustle inserted for dancing and a wrist hoop.
- Back made lower.

I bought this dress on Still White in 2018 after it had been professionally cleaned and made my own alterations as below.

- Hem let down and original sequinned off cuts re-added to increase length of dress.
- Waist pinched in to create a more fitted look.

The dress has been professional cleaned and is in lovely condition. I'm sad to let it go but something so beautiful needs another day out!
