The Dress

This beautifully designed dress was handmade in NZ - by the A La Robe designer, Elizabeth Soljak. Purchased from The White Room in Minneapolis, MN in January 2019 for May 2019 outdoor wedding.

I cannot say enough good things about this dress! It was absolutely perfect for me - I was able to achieve a modern, feminine, classic, and effortless look. It is incredibly timeless, I know when I look at the pictures in the future the style will still feel appropriate. I was so comfortable all evening, was able to move and dance and take photos. I also got compliments all night long from family and friends (and my husband of course)!

It checked every box on my "must have" list for the perfect dress, after trying on dresses in stores across the US and Europe. I hope someone else can find as much joy and satisfaction in this dress as I did!

Professionally dry cleaned with preservation by wedding dress dry clean and preservation specialist, Pinstripes, after the wedding. Any spots were removed, and the dress is in a sealed preservation box. It is in perfect condition!

Alterations

Altered to have a bustle. Hemmed to be floor length with original lace at the bottom was kept, and the hemming mirrored the original hem. I am 5'3" and was wearing .5" wedge sandal.
