The Dress

This gown is both charming and feminine. This dress was only worn once, and I have taken tremendous care to clean and preserve the dress for the next owner.

This gown features a plunging neckline, chiffon skirt, and lace straps. Subtly dramatic, the bodice perfectly balances creamy chiffon, silver panels, and luxurious French lace. The cream chiffon skirt is cut on the bias and flows effortlessly from the waist to the floor. Jordan is tied together with an off-white grosgrain ribbon, but can easily be accessorized with a statement belt for a personalized effect.


The bodice is constructed with two sets of interfacing and is fully boned to give structure and support. Skirt length measures roughly 46” at the front and 51” at the back. It can easily be shortened using an experienced bridal tailor.

Alterations

I had the dress altered to add some padding in order to fill out the bodice because I did not want to wear a bra with the dress. I also had the dress taken in slightly at the waist. So while the size purchased was a 4, it now fits more like a size 2 based on my measurements.
