The Dress

NEVER BEEN WORN, one-of-a-kind Helen Miller ivory silk organza and chantilly lace gown - the 'Laura' style, which won't be released until late 2020! The original dress dress didn't include sleeves, but Helen herself added these for me, making it a rare dress you won't find anywhere else.

Vintage-meets-modern in this romantic dress. Ivory silk flows to the ground, and chantilly lace crawls up the bodice around around the deep (but still modest) v-neck. A layer of lace drapes beautifully down the back of the silk, a gorgeous little detail. Billowing lace sleeves are gathered at the wrist, which give the gown a vintage feel, while the open, deep-v back are distinctly modern.

- Although custom fit to me, it has never been worn
- No train (great for outdoor weddings!)
- Nude cups already sewn in
- NOTE: the elasticated button closures on the wrist have snapped (see photo). A very easy fix, and why I have lowered the price
- Opaque in front of bodice, sheer lace at the back
- Lace in back could use a bit of a starch (thus why flopping a bit in photo)
- Zipper closure, with hook-eye fastening at top of zip
- It was made to fit me exactly, so please refer to my measurements. For reference, I am a size 6-8 US, a 34D in bra size. I am quite short from breast to shoulder, so the shoulders do fall down on me in this dress (I was going to use dress tape to help keep it in place). For anyone regularly sized here, it will fit like a dream.

Alterations

This dress was custom made to fit me - please refer to the pictures to see. It was altered at the bottom to fit me (at 5'5") wearing 3 inch heels (so 5'8" total). For reference, I am a size 6-8 (see measurements). It's not tight on me (if anything, a bit loose), so I'd say it could easily fit a true size 8.
