The Dress

Pronovias Drimea dress, with lace overlay jacket with matching buttons (the jacket is stitched on but could be removed). I have the original cap sleeves but altered the dress from a strapless gown with a cape to something that reflected my own more classical style of dress and veil.

The Pronovias Drimea is described as, "A design that combines the lace and Chantilly of the neckline with the tulle of the mermaid skirt. A dress that enhances and streamlines the silhouette."

It is extremely well made and looks very expensive and high end. I transported it to a destination wedding via a suitcase and despite 12 hours of travel, it remarkably didn't have a single crease in it.

I am 5"4 and wore 4 inch heels. The dress length would be appropriate for anyone ranging from 5" to 5"9. It could also fit a size 10 person with a decent pair of Spanx.

The dress is in excellent condition, largely because it was only worn for around 5 hours (I wore a different, shorter dress in the evening). It has some snags on the underneath of the mermaid tulle, caused by my shoes which cannot be seen when worn.

The dress has been dry cleaned. There are some marks on the underneath of the dress. More than anything, I do not want this dress to gather dust in my house. I want someone else to love it, cherish it and enjoy wearing it.

Alterations

The dress was taken in on the bust area, due to weight loss. I was originally a size 10 when I bought the dress but lost weight which made it looser. The bust was altered by around 1-2cm.
