The Dress

I was looking for a dress that reflected me: modest with a touch of sexy; love of art and nature; respectful of tradition but with an edgy streak. I loved the unique blush pink layer that sits underneath the ivory layer; not the expected traditional white. After much trial and error with other dresses, the universally flattering A-line shape was perfect. Mid back with sheer straps gives it the illusion of a strapless but with support. Flowers and branch lace detailing with shimmer from small spaced out sequins gives it the touch of romanticism I was looking for. The dress is super comfortable and I danced in it all night. I felt beautiful, confident and most importantly, I felt like myself yet elevated to make the statement: I AM GETTING MARRIED! I hope this dress brings you the joy and excitement it brought me on my day.

Alterations

Had it hemmed for my height with heels (5’4), shortened straps, pulled in waist and bust as I had to go up a size (I am top heavy and I have this issue with dresses in general). Added a bustle in the back.
