The Dress

Very simple, elegant ivory wedding dress by designer Catherine Deane. It has slim straps, a slight trail and a beautiful cut. It carries some weight in the satin fabric, which helps it drop beautifully.

I wore it to my afternoon registry office wedding with a Catherine Deane JAREN top, which is in excellent condition and also for sale on this site. This is the exact outfit in the picture of me on the day I’ve features with the dress and top worn together. *Please note this listing is for the dress only*

I am a size 10 and 5ft7, wore 3inch heels and enjoyed a flattering full flow to the floor with a slight trail. It is also labelled as a UK size 10.

I have not had the dress dry cleaned so please take note of the wear around the hem. Whilst I’m sure the general floor wear will come out with a dry clean, there is one distinct circle heel mark from standing on the grass you’ll see in the pictures. When you’re actually in the dress these things all fall low at the bottom of the dress and in the folds but I would recommend you budget for a dry clean. You’ll also be able to see if you look closely in the picture of the straps, that there are two lengths. For a shorter strap you put in a holding stitch, or for longer strap snip the holding stitch. Currently one strap is shorter, something you could easily adjust according to preference. I have priced appropriately to reflect these things.

Took up the front by about 4cm. I am 5ft7 and wore 3 inch heels and it was still to the floor.
