The Dress

This is the dress for a care free, effortless bride. It is bohemian yet sophisticated in style and is comfortable to wear. It moves easily with the body and the fact the slip is shorter at the front, balances out the high neck of the dress but also makes it easy to walk in, even though the dress is technically floor length.

I felt amazing in this dress. It is so unique but also classic. It is the perfect balance between a ceremony dress and a party dress.

The dress features an off-white beaded tulle overlay with fringing and embroidery which sits over a white silk slip.

The overlay is a size 10 and the slip is a size 12 to accommodate my wider hips however with alterations, I believe it has become more of a true size 10.

I paid $3,750 from The Bridal Atelier in Sydney and wore the dress in April 2019.

I have put a short video together to show a few of the minor imperfections of the dress.
Although they are only tiny and may not bother another bride, I would rather be 100% transparent as they can easily be fixed if you wanted to.

Alterations

I had a few minor alterations to ensure if fit perfect;
-slip and overlay taken in at the waste
-bustle added
-clips added to connect slip to the overlay so that the dress moved as one
-top of the slip altered to make it a lower cut for the slip
-straps can easily be adjusted as the length was kept
