The Dress

I had tried on so many dresses and never found one that was perfect, so I took all the little parts I liked from many dresses to make this one of a kind dress. It is a TWO piece dress. The first floor length trumpet shape with small train is worn under a skirt made to change the shape of the dress to a drastic ball gown shape and long 5 foot train. As I walked down the aisle I had a nice train following and got some awesome pictures with it, and then as I danced and played during my reception I didn't have to worry about it being stepped on as I took off the skirt and had a form fitted dress that I could easily move in. (Plus it made a cool entrance as my new husband ripped off my skirt right before our first dance).

Starting from the top, the sweetheart neckline with beautiful beaded detailing goes down to your belly. The bottom half of the inside dress is just plain, although the tulle has a slight shimmer. I wanted to be able to show my red shoes so the dress has a peek-a-boo cut out on the bottom. (The inside layer is cut but the tulle falls over) inside the bust area there is a built in bra as the back of the dress is low and you can't wear a bra. Also there is a bra latch inside to help when zipping up the back. The buttons going up the back are fake so no need to sit and button all of them!

When you put the extra skirt over it is a belt that buttons right over your waist, and the embellishments match up perfectly to the dress under so its hard to notice its 2 pieces especially with the help of the red belt I had on. The skirt wraps around covering the back fully but stops on the sides of the front so that front peek-a-boo is still visible. One of the layers of tulle is a slight glittery one so it shines in the light.

The veil also comes with the dress and skirt. It is almost 4 feet long and with it place near the crown of your head will hit near your lower back. The edges have beading which help define where your veil is when against the dress.
