The Dress
I loved my dress SO much! It was love at first sight, and it was the very first (and only) dress I actually tried on. I knew I wanted a 1920s style look & this fits that era perfectly.
The dress is really simple in design: a scooped cowl neck, capped sleeves and cut on the bias so it's super flattering (I'm a very typical hourglass shape, and so hold my wobbly weight on my stomach. The bias cut meant that it skimmed over all the bumps but highlighted my waist).
The train is around 2ft long, but I had no problems moving about or dancing all night because it's so lightweight.
100% silk and only one underlayer.
For me, the dress felt even more special when I found out that from the boutique owner that this dress had already been worn by 2 other brides, and I would love for it to keep seeing many future brides through their wedding day ❤️
Theres a small mud stain on the inner lining, but the outer silk is blemish free. I would be happy to get the dress dry cleaned before posting - because who has time for that when they're planning a wedding?!
Alterations
A lace and pearly bead modesty panel was removed from the cowl neck. It is still with the dress but would need stitching back in.
