The Dress

This dress is the perfect combination of elegance and comfort with so many special details. The bottom of the dress has a beautiful scalloped edge, the lace is sewn such that it appears that there are small pearls or jewels that catch the light on the dress, finally, the back is absolutely showstopping - it is mostly sheer with a line of small fabric covered buttons(in hindsight I wish I had worn my hair up so that it was more visible). The dress has some stretch to it and the nude underlayer is made of a soft jersey material which was so comfortable that I could easily eat, dance and wear the dress all night long. The dress was worn for our September wedding in 2018. I received so many compliments specifically on the dress (even from the staff at the restaurant venue in downtown Toronto) and I have never felt more beautiful. I would love for another bride to have the same experience! The dress is in great condition with only some small marks along the hemline where it touched the ground.

Alterations

I had the dress slightly altered to add some breast cups and to remove a small curlicue detail along the neckline (visible on the dress on the Allure Couture website).
