The Dress

I wore this dress for my beach wedding in Ibiza in June. The ceremony was a few meters from the sea. It was 27 degrees but the dress wasn't too hot for me.

The So Sassi Bianca is the perfect mix between a beach/bohemian and a classic dress. It has a stunning lace column gown and v neckline detail.

The train is a "court train", also known as a "puddle train" which I thought was perfect for a less formal wedding. There is also the option of using the bustle for dancing.

Belt - the seamstress had sewn on a rhinestone/satin belt which can easily be removed. I thought this gave the dress a bit of bling without it being too over the top.

I am a UK 8 and fit into most highstreet size 8 dresses. I am 5ft 2inches and wore 3 inch heels on the day.

The dress is in excellent condition. I only wore it for 6 hours. There are no rips or tears.

Alterations

I had the usual adjustments made, to length and to fit my shape. Cups were not added and I wore a strapless bra.

The seamstress added a "bustle" to the dress using ribbons to make it easier to walk post-ceremony and dance. This was done by lifting up the train or tucking it into itself.
