The Dress

I had a couture dress made by celebrated wedding dress designer Kate Halfpenny (http://www.halfpennylondon.com) after seeing the incredible dresses she had made for the likes of Kate Moss, Emilia Fox and Erin O'Connor.

I decided to have an ivory inspired version of the infamous canary yellow Vera Wang dress Michelle Williams wore to the 2006 Oscars. Kate and I made small changes to the design such as higher neckline, no ruffles of the fishtail, slightly longer puddle train, and preferred the dress without a belt (this could always be added).

Kate did a superb job of creating a stunning dress that was even more beautiful than I could have imagined. The dress was so comfortable to wear and is elegant, romantic and has lovely movement in all the photographs. The silk crepe hangs so well and the pleated georgette collar added lightness and is an unusual design feature.

The dress would comfortably fit size 10 - 12 (uk sizing) I am 5 ft 6 tall and wore 4 inch heels on the day and the dress skimmed the ground perfectly.

The dress is in fantastic condition and only slight marks on the underneath of the dress where it touched the ground and can't be seen when wearing dress.

The original Kate Halfpenny carrier is included.
