The Dress

The dress speaks for itself. It is truly stunning, and hard to stop staring at! I know brides always get compliments, but I could not believe the number of them I received about the dress. It's uniqueness was definitely a surprise for everyone.

Although the embroidery is intricate, the fit and design of the body of the dress is very simple, so it was very comfortable to put on, wear for the whole evening, and take off without worrying about damaging it. It's a perfect mix of casual and comfortable-- and incredibly fancy.

I did not have it dry cleaned as there are no smudges, markings, stains, and it was a cool 72 degree day. It is very clean. To be honest, I also have a little separation anxiety leaving it with a dry cleaner, so I am opting to leave that choice up to you!

Even though it's hard to let go of, I know I won't have a reason to wear it again. Instead of having it hang in my closet, I want someone else to enjoy it as much as I did!

Alterations

I ordered the dress as a size 8, and had two darts placed in the chest to fit my bust (34C) and hemmed to my shorter stature, since I didn't know which bra or shoes I'd wear. You can see both the chest dart and hem in the side photo best.

Both alterations are professionally done and subtle. It fits as a US size 6. The measurements listed are definitely your best guide!
