The Dress
Beautiful and classic silk satin Stewart Parvin gown. Simple and elegant. Draped across the bodice with a simple a-line skirt. No lace, beading or other adornments. Satin covered beads up the back and a lace-up corset inside. Short (~18”) train with a French bustle added.
It needs a petticoat underneath to give the skirt fullness; not included.
Was worn and then immediately cleaned and has been stored in a wedding gown preservation box (which is what I will ship it in). Has a couple of small, light stains at the front hem; honestly do not think anyone would notice. Can send a photo. Otherwise, pristine - just needs a good steaming to get the wrinkles out!
Originally purchased at Hannelore’s of Olde Towne in Alexandria, VA for $2100.
Alterations
Hemmed (I’m about 5’5.5” and wore ~2” heels). Tailored slightly at bust and waist.
