The Dress

This beautiful Hayley Paige dress is one of Hayley's favorites (featured multiple times on her Instagram). I purchased this dress for my June 2019 wedding and it was only wore on the wedding day. I decided to go with a custom length Hollow to Hem (extra $350 on top of retail price) to ensure the dress was proportionally made to my height as opposed to cutting the dress short just from the bottom after it is made. See alterations section for measurements.

My measurements on wedding day was 34C, 25.5, and xx (irrelevant for ball gown!) This was purchased as a size 8 because I lost 12lbs after purchasing the dress.

My favorite features of this dress are:

- Sparkly throughout. Looks great in outdoor wedding and nighttime with the lights shine on you, especially in videos.

- Heavy lace to create a dimensional look from all angles. The heavy lace (top layer) holds its structure, which looks amazing from all angles and it really tucks in the waist to create a defined waistline.

- Bottom layer train is beige color, which looks just a hint of pink to create additional dimension. This is not a pink dress but a very clever design.

- Lace pattern is unique, and the scallop sweetheart neckline pattern makes it extra feminine

- Easy to dance in! The bustle brings up the tail and I had no issues making four full turns during our first dance.

Alterations

- Custom length: Hollow to Hem 54 inch. I am 5'0 1/2 with 3 3/4 inch heels. The dress was about 0.25 inch off the floor for me so I never had an issue tripping over.

- Pads added to cups

- Neckline very slightly closed up for better breast shape & support

- Bustle added: see photo with bustle, very sturdy and only takes two minutes

- Waist tuned in: my waist was ~25.5 inches on wedding day. The waistline is important to take weight off the spaghetti strapes
