The Dress

Gorgeous Allison Webb Penelope gown that is perfect when you need something elegant, stunning and has a bit of sparkle. I wanted something that was modern, architectural, but also that I could dance it. This was my reception dress, and I absolutely loved it. The evening light caught it perfectly and I danced in it all night long. Even walked to my afterparty in it. The bodice is extremely flattering and acts as a corset holding everything in.

I am 5'3 and wore 4 inch heals. DRESS LENGTH: 52 inches length in the front, 68 inches in the back

When I bought it, I was a size 6, but by wedding time, I was a size 4, so the dress had flexibility.

Has been drycleaned, but stubborn stains on the fringes.

MEASUREMENTS - No alterations from standard size (only in length). Allison Webb does not give measurements of their standard sizes. However, I only altered the length from their standard size 10 (wedding)/street size 6.

At the time I ordered the dress, I was: Bust - 33 1/4 inches (I am probably 33 3/4 or 34 inches now), Waist - 31 inches, hips, 40 inches.

Allison Webb is from the JLM house with Hayley Paige and Lazaro. She is a former Oscar DeLaRenta designer and this is her very first line. I purchased this from Wedding Atelier in NYC.

Alterations

Only in the length. I am 5'3 and wore 4 inch heals.
