The Dress

I absolutely loved my custom Martina Liana dress! My favorite part was twirling during our first dance and feeling like a princess when the skirt opened up wide like a ball gown!

This dress was custom made by Martina Liana by altering dress #831, modified to be a v-neck and v-back without the illusion neckline fabric, and also made to be a true A-line shape flaring at the natural waist rather than the hips. It is one of a kind!!

The train is very detailed and pretty, with lace medallions all over it and a scalloped lace hem all around the edges. It is a chapel length train. I loved the bustle- the skirt was brought up and buttoned to the waist line creating a very tailored, clean look (rather than a French bustle which can look bulky). But you could have your seamstress do another kind of bustle if you prefer.

The dress feels relatively light and breathable considering the good amount of volume in the skirt.

I wore an ivory satin ribbon belt (removable) which I am happy to include if you would like it.
