The Dress

This dress was beautifully made to custom fit my body.

Of course the dream would mean I do not have to sell this stunning piece however given I will more then likely never wear this dress again I feel a little better knowing it could make another bride very happy.

I usually wear a size 10 UK in dress size and a size C cup in bra size. No bra was worn with this dress as it was backless however adding cups is easily possible the designer has told me. The material of the dress was all beading (Revelle Lace) on the outside and a fitted dress underneath, the sleeves are sheer beaded.

Fit is hourglass shape.
Lining is satin backed crepe.
Revelle lace fabric.
The chest area had a sheer mesh running up to the collar bone that provided nice support, made the dress more fitted and stopped and unwanted ‘falling out’ of the low cut.

This dress comes with a custom-made, soft tulle removable overskirt made with matching beaded belt(made by the designer) and two tier cathedral veil (made by designer) which were both an extra. It also comes with a single beaded belt which i used later in the night when the overskirt was no longer needed. I am a pretty standard size 10, and 5ft 10inches tall (I also wore 4 inch heels on the day)- the dress length can be taken up.

At the time of making my custom order my measurements were as follows;

Waist 28 inch
Hips 39.5 inches
Bust 36-26.5 inches
Waist to floor 48.5 inches
Front shoulder to shoulder [removed]cm
Back should to shoulder 15.5cm

Two weeks before my wedding I had the waist nipped in a little more from the back plus also added some buttons to the end of the sleeves, which could easily be removed/altered.

Sleeves could be tightened for a thinner arm or shorted to make a 3/4 or short sleeve, or maybe even removed entirely.

I guess sleeves could also be removed to make an even more unique wedding dress for a future bride.
