The Dress

Stunning, modern, minimalist wedding dress. Simple, but with unique features such as keyhole back and covered buttons down the zipper, with a long dramatic train.

This dress is new and has never been worn (other than to fittings). While I absolutly fell in love with this dress, our venue changed and we ended up having a backyard wedding, so unfortunatly it just didn't fit the occasion.

I chose Alyssa Kristin over Sarah Seven, or other similar styles because of the quality of material. This crepe is thick with a lining which is necessary in a white dress without any lace or beading. It is comfortable and stretches as you move, but at the same time form fitting. I love the low V front, especially because there is mesh keeping everything in place, no need to worry about showing too much :)

Alterations

-Straps were shortened
-Because of the keyhole back the sides of the back needed to be taken in a bit so it wouldn't gap open.
-Silver clasps were exchanged for white so they were less noticeable.
-Hemmed to fit my height (5'4'') + 2 inch heels
-Regular bustle - buttons with string loops to attach the train under the dress, making the back a little fuller but appearing as if there is no train.
-Cups without padding were added
-Covered buttons 1/2 way down the back of the dress were added.
