The Dress

This dress is so incredibly elegant and regal feeling and has never been worn! I purchased this dress initially and had it altered to add sleeves and raise the back a bit, as well as taking it in through the torso, added crinoline to fluff the bottom and added cups to fill out the chest. The thickness and high quality of the gorgeous coquille lace is breathtaking and the dress is truly one of a kind. It's in perfect condition with no tears, stains, holes or snags.

The train looks like a peacock's tail due to the lace patterning and I would have happily have worn this amazing dress, but it was forecasted to be VERY hot outside for the wedding and I had lost some weight just before the wedding, so I went with something lighter. this is an excellent Fall/Winter wedding dress and would be excellent for a bride who would like to cover their arms with looser fitting sleeves!

Alterations

Added off-shoulder sleeves and taken in to listed measurements. I'm between a size 6 and size 8 in street clothing and would have fit well into a label size 8, but I bought this dress in label size 10 and altered it down. I'm 5'8" and this dress is the perfect length with 2" heels. Dress comes with approximately 2 yards of additional lace fabric from Watters, in case further alterations are needed/desired, as this lace is very unique and can't be found otherwise.
