The Dress

I felt like a princess on my wedding day in this dress. It has beautiful sequins all over with some beading around the chest which makes it shimmer but was still lightweight and comfortable to wear. The small train is enough to make it feel wedding-y but without the risk of tripping over walking up the aisle or on the dance floor (once in a bustle). I bought the dress off the peg from the Karen Willis Holmes Alexandria store together with the matching veil (2 tier “Claude” design). I wore it for a December 2018 wedding in Scotland followed by a wedding celebration in Sydney in January 2019 so it is versatile for different climates! It was professionally dry-cleaned by a company recommended by KWH and came back in mint condition. A small patch of beads has come away but at the bottom of the train, where the dress bustles up so hard to see. I'm open to selling the veil as well.

Alterations

I had bust pads sewn in so you don't need to wear a bra and a hidden catch to replace the ribbon tie at the top of the diamond back. The dress was hemmed to fit my height - 5ft 8in + 2 inch heels. 2 hooks were added to bustle the train.
