I bought this dress in December 2018 and hoped my seamstress would be able to alter it to fit my shape/size. I’m a size 6 and 5ft 2... The dress is a 12 and due to my proportions (quite a short torso)I was too nervous about the number of changes needed and whether the dress would look as I’d hoped, so in the end bought a different dress in my actual size.
This really is a beautiful dress and the back in particular is stunning. The condition is excellent with only a couple of loose beads which I’ve been told is very simple to fix. The dress has not been altered at all as I decide it was wasn’t the right one for me just before my fitting in May. My dress is ivory/silver.
