The Dress

As soon as I put on this Maggie Sottero gown I knew it was the one, I fell in love with the contrast of the light gold silk under sheath against the ivory lace overlay.
The dress is lightly beaded along the bust line to give a little bit of sparkle.
It’s such a comfortable gown to wear with no boning or corset it felt like wearing a silky nightdress.
The low back of the gown is very flattering and adds a little edge to the look as you are watched walking down the aisle.

The train is a really lovely length and can be tied up ready to dance the night away.
(The tie for this does need a small repair because my grandfather stood on it during the evening party and it broke)

The tie and a small amount of friction along the bottom of the silk train due to dragging along the floor are the only faults with this gown.
It has been professionally cleaned and is in a very good condition.

The gown fitted like a glove and I felt beautiful, I could’ve kept it on for a month.

Dress was ordered in a UK size 6, alterations were made to fit my waist and straps were shortened very minimally
