The Dress

I tried on SO many wedding dresses and nothing made me feel as special as this Sarah Seven Lorelie gown. The cut is so flattering and everyone was blown away on the wedding day. It's the perfect mix of modern chic and traditional bridal with the satin bodice and flowing organza skirt. The V cuts at the sides, front and back made it feel different to anything else I tried on.

The side Vs have illusion material to flatter the silhouette.

I am 5ft10 and wore 2.5inch heels. I am a size 10, the label is an US 8.

The dress has been worn only once but has marks and a small rip along the very edge of the hem. As I am quite tall I would anticipate someone slightly shorter having the dress taken up - therefore removing the stain and hem wear. The marks are not easily visible (see pic of me in garden after the wedding) and the dry cleaner said the few on the underneath should come off. This has been reflected in the price.

The belt I wore is Enzoani. It was £180 but can be negotiated into the cost of the dress if both are desired.

Alterations

Cups added for support - could be easily removed. I also had a very discreet bustle fitted (tiny invisible press studs along the seams)- see the dancing photo for the bustle in action.
