The Dress

This beautiful dress was worn only once. (No rain on the wedding day!) The dress and shawl have been professionally cleaned and have remained protected since cleaning. The dress has an organza shawl to match the color of the dress(worn for modesty during the ceremony). There is a hidden zipper in the back. The buttons down the back are decorative. I don't know what official size the dress is, but I wore a 34C bustier / strapless bra with the dress. I was probably a size 8. The distance from the top of the strap to the under arm fabric is 7 inches. There is only a slight train on the back of the dress. I bought this stunning dress at a designer / exclusive store in Yorkville - Toronto, Canada called "Alan Cherry" located in Toronto's exclusive Hazelton Lanes (which sadly, is no longer in business ). The rouging made the dress very comfortable (forgiving) to wear. I am not sure what the fabric is, but I think it is probably satin. The color seems ivory to me. There is no ribbing/boning in the dress, but my bustier/strapless bra went to my waist, and had boning. I am willing to sell the undergarment with the dress if you are interested. It has also been worn only once.

Alterations

The dress was altered slightly to fit my bust, hips, waist and length by the seamstress at Alan Cherry's store in Yorkville, Toronto, Canada. The measurements provided are my measurements of the actual dress as accurately as I can measure.
