The Dress

Philomena, Willowby by Waters.

I bought this dress in April 2018 and wore in April 2019.

I am 5ft2” and wore a 3” heel so that the dress touches the floor.

Some alterations made to fit my waist (27”) and height. Also pulled in a little at the bust, and thin cups added (they can be removed if necessary).

Dress is ivory with a lovely hint of champagne/peachy colour (designer calls it nectar) which comes from one layer of the tulle skirt.

Beautiful beading details on the bodice and straps, with almost see-through netting on the v neck and sides of bodice to create a sexy boho style dress.

Skirt is tulle, with intricate lace detailing and a train. (See side photo)

Dress hasn’t been dry cleaned but the price reflects this, only very bottom of skirt is dirty from wear during the day.

Alterations

Length taken up, touched floor for me (I am 5ft2” and wore a 3” heel)

Waist taken in 3 inches (27” waist)

Straps shortened slightly to pull dress up

Bust netting taken in a little to keep everything in place!

Cups added, could be removed.
