The Dress

This dress was purchased before it was even officially released in 2015 at an Eve of Milady trunk show at the internationally renowned Bridals by Lori bridal shop in Atlanta, Georgia. Yes... this is the shop where "Say Yes to the Dress!" is filmed [the only location other than Kleinfeld's in New York]. The dress HAS appeared on Say Yes to the Dress [I've seen it while watching myself to my surprise & delight]. This is also where I had the dress professionally altered, for a grand purchase total of $5,800 [pre-taxes]. I am waiting to find the original receipt in order to post the provided description of the ornate French laces and exquisite beading which make this dress a truly one-of-a-kind couture gem.

The dress color is officially called "Ivory/Champagne". The dress itself is ivory but there is a beautiful satin champagne under layer which adds depth with a dimensional champagne color.

Alterations

Over $1,000 in alterations are included in this dress. At the time of purchase my bust was 31" total, and I wore a Victoria's Secret padded push-up bra which added 2 cups to fit the dress bust. It fit fine, but a fuller chest could have definitely fit well. My bust is 33" now and when I try the dress on there is still at least 2" left to spare I would say. Thus I am listing the dress as a 35" bust. If the bust is a little big on you a standard strapless push-up bra or similar solution should do the trick nicely. I am looking for the official hip measurements for the dress alterations. My best estimate is that the dress fits hips measuring between 34-36" (you should be able to take it in if you're any smaller).
