The Dress

This wedding dress is crafted of silk tulle and features hand melange and ivory floral appliqués, and a long train. The colour is blush & ivory.

It was purchased from Browns Bride in London, but handmade in Israel. I had Mira and Lihi adapt the original Elsa dress (which was a strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline) and put a sheer illusion tulle with floral applique scattered around the chest and sleeves. You can see this from the pictures. However, you can also alter and adapt this back into a strapless dress. It is light and – a truly soft, romantic and ethereal dress.

I looked through a dozen shops for the right balance between something that made me feel like a princess yet looked romantic and modern. It was the dress of my dreams and truly one of a kind. I absolutely adored my dress, and hope to see it go to another bride who will love it as much as I did.

There is a small snag on the shoulder which is easily alterable. I recommend not to wear this dress with Manolo Blahniks as the clasp can catch the tulle which is very delicate. I settled with a pair of Jimmy Choos.
