The Dress

The perfect, romantic, silk chiffon dress with versatile lace sleeves and a hand pleated bodice. It has a beautiful train and bustles beautifully using tiny hooks below the skirt. The dress has a slit in the front. It was made to order for my wedding in December 2018.

Built-in bra (size B). Sleeves can be changed for different looks throughout the night. I opted to keep the sleeves over the shoulder for my ceremony, and tucked the sleeves in later on to dance the night away. The lace sleeve has been sewn into the back of the dress however this can be changed, a button could be added and the sleeve can be worn off the shoulder and clipped at the back for a romantic feel. The sleeves could also be dropped off shoulder as is. This dress is light, comfortable, and has beautiful movement. The dress really showed off during my after shoot blowing in the wind in the mountains in Cape Town

Alterations

Bodice taken in along the sides of the bust and can be let out if need be.It was hemmed for 5' 9" person wearing flats, and bustle added (see pic for what dress looks like from back when bustled).

Note that, although it was dry cleaned, there are still some spots along hem that could not be cleaned in order to keep the fabric in beautiful condition. Could likely be eliminated by shortening the train slightly.

I can highly recommend the seamstress that I used in London for any further alterations as she was excellent.
