The Dress

NEW - never worn. I had the dress altered & the tag was removed - so I don't know the style number.

The dress is an off-white silk mikado, so it has a sheen to it, but not like satin. It has individual buttons down the back that cover the zipper and a gorgeous long train. This is a heavier material - so keep that in mind if you have a summer wedding. It is stunning on and definitely figure flattering.

As with many of the brides on here - I bought two dresses and ended up wearing the other one. The selling price reflects the $450 bustle that is included.

Alterations

Hemmed : I was approximately 5'8" in the shoes I wore for fittings - dress is hemmed to that height.
Taken in: the top was taken in about 1/2 inch on each side from about the waist up - seam allowance is still there, so it can be taken back out. NOTE: I am a 32DD bust - so it fit me perfectly
Bustle: 11 point bustle - that means there are 11 different ties to be able to get the train up into the french bustle- this alone was $450.00 in alterations - the bustle is gorgeous, but you will need a few friends to tie up those 11 ties!
