The Dress

Emma Bridals beautiful wedding gown in pewter with white lace over the top. Fabric is satin & lace. I was due to get married abroad so this dress was perfect for destination wedding (not too heavy) or UK wedding.
Brand new, only tried on/worn for alterations. Bought as a Emma Bridals size 2 (before alterations).

Waist: 26 inch/67cm
Hips: 35 inch/89cm
Bust: 34 inch/87cm
Length top of shoulder strap to bottom of dress: 57 inch/147cm
Strap length (cup to shoulder): 5.5inch/14cm

My personal measurements
Waist: 25 inch/64cm
Hips: 33inch/84cm
Bust: 33inch/84cm
My height 64 inch/162cm 5ft4.
My current weight is 8 stone 7; I have been 8 stone and this dress still fit well.

Alterations

The dress had a sheer panel over the top part of the dress, I had this removed to make sweetheart neckline with thin straps. I had little bits of lace sewn onto the straps. I had it shortened to fit my height and had it taken in from the original size. I had cups sewn in and a button trim down the back of the dress and the train shortened.
