The Dress
It’s a Mikado dress with a pearl trimmed guipure lace bodice. The detail in the beading and lace is absolutely stunning. The pearl band at the waist really nipped in my waist creating a lovely silhouette. I also loved the full skirt which looked great twirling in photos. It felt beautiful to wear - a dress that you can wear rather than it wearing you! There are a few tiny marks on the underside of the train which didn’t come out with dry cleaning but they are almost imperceptible and not visible when wearing.
Alterations
I’m 5”5 and I needed to get it taken up slightly as it was originally too long for my height.
