The Dress
My favorite part of the dress is the neckline. A high neck is my style, and the lace applique gave me an elegant, different look. I'm 5'10 and I loved that the dress accentuated my height (I also wore 2 inch heels). The sheer chest and back are what I received the most compliments on. I always knew that I wanted buttons down the entire back so this dress was perfection. This was truly my dream dress. I also love that it could work for every season.
Alterations
Please note-this dress was initially a size 14 but has been taken in to between a size 4 and a size 6. Additionally, the dress was made to have a cap sleeve, but I added the long sheer/lace sleeves as well as extra appliques to the sheer back as my venue was a temple. My bridal salon ordered the lace appliques that were used to create the long sleeves and added to the back directly from the designer, so they are an exact match to the rest of the dress.
