The Dress

Current season Monique Lhuillier dress purchased in January 2019 from Helen Rodriquez bridal boutique in Sydney, Australia.

I felt regal and elegant, an experience I've never felt in any other dress. The bow bustle at the back added a certain relaxed playfulness to the look as well. And the skirt/train felt effortless to wear.

The v-neck front was incredibly comfortable and didn't move due to the natural weight of the skirt. I am a cup size D and had slim inserts added in to ensure support + a smooth appearance - these are held in by 1-2 loops of thread and can easily be replaced by a different cup insert.

Underneath the silk skirt there's a tulle underskirt that created the dress's volume. The bow (bustle) piece is detachable which is so convenient, as you can take it off as the night progresses! The dress's A-line shape is so flattering and would sit a multitude of figures.

The dress has been professionally cleaned by a dry cleaners who specialises in gowns and bridal wear.

Alterations

Hem altered in consideration of height (5'4) and heels (4 inch). Can be let down again if needed.
