The Dress
I found this dress on a trip to New York and instantly fell in love with it, but it was out of stock while I was there, so had to have it shipped over. Crafted in a beautiful ivory crepe with clean lines, a nipped in waist and cutout back, I felt so elegant, but still so comfortable due to the slight stretch of the material. I was married in Italy and it packed perfectly and any creases easily fell out in a steamed bathroom. It is reasonably form-fitting, so I wore light control shorts from M&S under it to avoid VPL and a multi-way bra. I paired it with an ivory veil and pearls to complete the look. Compared to the cost of other wedding dresses I looked at, I thought this was a stunning, timeless dress at probably half the price.
Alterations
I had the dress hemmed to skim the floor. I am 5' 5.5" tall and wore 3" heels. I also had it nipped in at the waist half an inch and reinforced the clasp at the back of the dress for extra security.
