The Dress

Premiere du Monde is the beautiful, classic and elegant design by the famous French designer Donatelle Godart.

The dress is originally purchased from Mews Bridal in Notting Hill, London. It was formerly a sample, and I wore it at my wedding. It is an absolutely beautiful dress that I feel in love with immediately due to the open back and contemporary take on lace. The dress is made of embroidered tulle and georgette silk. The gown is extremely light using the finest quality material. It is easy to manoevre and wear and is extremely comfortable. The dress has a full skirt with large train and bodice is lace on a sheer net base. The dress travels well and the fabric is beautiful to touch.

The dress is in very good condition overall. It has had a few minor alterations to the hemline. It has one minor slit which occurred during its cleaning (this can be repaired very easily and inexpensively), please contact me for more information on the alterations if you would like to know more.

Alterations

Very minimal alterations were made to the dress. It is hemmed for 5ft 6 bride with a very high heel.
