The Dress

Perfectly fitting, sweet and feminine!

I never wanted a dress other than this one. I tried on a few, but once I saw this I knew it was for me. I wanted something that would show off my figure without being overtly sexy, and I wanted something that nodded to classic wedding dresses while having an updated style. And I love millennial pink - and this came with a sash! This was my perfect dress and I hope it will be someone else's perfect dress, too!

Was it comfortable? Girl, my wedding was not about comfort, but I wasn't dying either. It's got enough solid boning in the bodice that even if you gain a couple pounds of anxiety weight, ain't nobody gonna see it. That bodice is keeping you in tight! The fit and flare style allowed me to dance all night long though! I'm curvy and between a size 2 and 4 usually but Vera Wang has a very rigid idea of what a size 4 is! I recommend that you try on a Vera Wang gown or two in person to get a sense of the sizing.

I honestly would like to give this dress away to someone who needs it, and to whom it will bring joy. The asking price is to cover shipping and fees, we can negotiate once we know what all those costs will be. I paid $600 for it, plus whatever the hemming and bustling costs were. I haven't dry cleaned it after wearing, so bear that in mind when you're thinking about your overall costs. I think it also will need to be re-bustled, if that's the look you like.

The dress ships with it's pink sash and original David's Bridal hanger/bag. It's been hanging everyday since being worn, so shouldn't be wrinkled or damaged.

Alterations

Very few alterations! Hemming only and a bustle - absolutely no alterations on the bodice or layers. It's in amazing shape because it hasn't been poked and prodded. A note about hemming - I'm 5'4 and I wore my dress boots with this dress, so it's best suited for someone on the shorter-side.
