The Dress

Current season 2018, Pronovias Eco.

This dress is used, but excellent condition. Sadly missing one of the back buttons, but otherwise no damage to dress. Such a light floaty gorgeous dress.

I had a second dress for the reception, so only wore for the ceremony- thus pretty immaculate.

Bought new from Thorndon brides in Wellington. Bustle loops added and shortened to my 5'7 height plus 2 cm heels, by their professional seamstress.

Bohemian, with an ethnic touch and a healthy dose of romanticism. Those are the three sources of inspiration for this sensational dress with an evasé lace skirt and a soft tulle overskirt, fitted at the natural waist. A design paired with a blouson-style bodice, with guipure ruffles to add movement, where the V-neck accentuates the femininity of the bust. The back, with a wide V-neckline and tied at the top with a slender ribbon, falls with a cascading effect. A dress where the suggestiveness of sheer effects and the delicacy of flowers make for a simply perfect boho-chic design.
