The Dress

This satin bridal dress has a semi-transparent bodice. It is covered with beautiful precious stone embroidered lace and reveals the flattering interior neckline. A plain sash encircles the waist, for a touch of modern elegance. A wide skirt accentuates the A-line of this dress. (Courtesy of Pronovias!).

This is a 2013 Dalia dress from Pronovias. It is officially a size 4 but I was a size 6/8 when I wore it. It was shortened to be for a 5 foot 5 person wearing 3 inch heels. There is enough hem to lengthen it another inch. The train to the dress hooks up really easily for evening dancing. There are also hand holds under the dress so you can hold it up yourself.

The dress has been dry cleaned and is in pristine condition.

I absolutely love my dress but I have just moved house and decided that it was time to let it go (I have been watching too much Marie Kondo!). I would love someone else to wear it, enjoy it and give it another outing. It is a classic dress that won't look dated in years to come. It feels heavy and of high quality. There are hooks in the bodice to go over your bra on the back and front of the dress to ensure a snug fit and no gaping. It is a zip at the back - see above note regarding the zip.

There is a bodice inside the dress to hold you in.

The Chantilly lace on the bodice is so pretty and elegant. I loved wearing it, my husband adored it and it felt very special. I really want it to be worn again!

Please be aware that it is small around the rib cage so it really does need to worn by someone who is a size 6 or small 6....
