What makes this dress so unique are the subtle horse-hair stripes throughout and the wavy layers in the skirt. The straps rest on the very edge of the shoulders, making it an almost-entirely open back with a plunging 'V' that meets in the middle at two loop buttons, a hook-and-eye and a zipper - so everything is super secure at the waistline. The neckline is an equally edgy, plunging 'V.' There is sheer materials under the armpits that give it another unique flare.

Though intended for a size 4, the dress was purchased as a size 8 in order to ensure the back would remain as wide of a 'V' as possible. So, the dress was taken in significantly at the waist and the straps were taken in slightly as well.
