The Dress

Purchased at BHLDN. This Catherine Deane dress is fitted through the bodice and hips, this gown exudes femininity. Illusion lace at the décolletage frames the face, leading to a beautiful open back. Scalloped bands of vintage-inspired lace create a motif we find most alluring. Fits true to size; take your normal size. Fitted throughout. Ships with a satin sash attached; Back zip; Ivory shell; champagne lining; Rayon, nylon, modal; poly-spandex lining

Dress was worn once in late September 2018 and professionally dry cleaned immediately after. Dress is in like new condition. I had so many compliments on how this dress flattered my petite but curvy body - especially from behind!

Alterations

The dress was altered by A Stitch in Time in Brentwood, Los Angeles, a premier bridal tailor. I took it up a few inches - I am 5'3" and wore 3" heels. I am 130 pounds, 32A bust (added cups in, you could take them out for a bigger bust), with a 28" waist and 37" hips. I also added a beaded belt, which was sewn onto the satin sash that comes with the dress. The belt will need to be reattached if you'd like to use, but will come with.
