Stunning vintage "The Great Gatsby" style wedding dress with fabulous Art Deco-inspired caped column gown. Exquisite lace, embroidery, pearls and sequin caped chiffon bodice with crepe floor length train. The lace cape falls to elbow length and highlights the open back and deep V-neckline. The dress is described as ivory but it is closer to white.

I had so many compliments about this dress!

The button detail is beautiful with buttons on the underside from the nape of dress to end of train and from the nape to end of cape.

The dress has been discontinued and caped wedding gowns are trending now.

This dress was an absolute pleasure to wear for our wedding in Italy this summer (27 June 2018). It is extremely lightweight despite the detail and traveled like a dream! It would equally be suitable for a winter wedding.

There are no sleeves, the cape skims the arms making it a really comfortable cover-up. Slight alterations were made by a professional bridal wear designer. The shoulders were lifted slightly, slight tucks on the upper bodice, hemline and train taken up and cups inserted so no need for a bra! The dress has an illusion back underneath the cape so it gives a beautiful shape. The skirt was not altered at the waist as I did not want to curtail the movement in the dress. I am a high street size 10, bust 34/36 and height 161cm or 5ft 3.5inches. I wore 3.5inch heels on the day. The dress label is UK size 12. The dress has been professionally cleaned and there is one very small mark remaining on the hem which may be removed if the dress needs altered again.

Slight alterations were made by a professional bridal wear designer. The shoulders were lifted slightly, slight tucks on the upper bodice, hemline and train taken up plus I had cups inserted so no need for a bra! I am a high street size 10, 161cm and wore 3.5inch heels on the day. The dress label is UK size 12.
