The Dress
I bought this dress in a boutique. The lace is exquisite, an ivory lace overlay with slightly darker ivory fabric underneath - - just enough to create some contrast. The craftsmanship is superb: extensive boning on the inside so that I didn't have to wear a bra (36D), and even the alterations were done in such a way as to preserve the overall pattern of the lace: my seamstress removed the lace overlay piece by piece and then cut the light tulle layer, and then re-sewed the lace overlay.

Alterations
This dress was originally strapless but I wanted off-shoulder sleeves with a sort of Spanish style as you can see in the pictures. I am 5'1' inch so the dress was also hemmed to fit me with flats.
