The Dress

Beautiful vintage style Rara Avis 'Linda' dress which was made for me to wear at my amazing two weddings (yes two!).
It is actually in two parts. There is an under slip which is thick and silky (it is lined) with boob pads and the criss-cross back and then the over part which is tulle, beaded with 3/4 length sleeves with slits in and elasticated cuffs.
Although it was custom made, I am an average size 8 so should fit anyone of that size too. Tucks in at the waist for a flattering look without being too tight and restricting for after your Wedding Breakfast!
Gorgeous long train (I am 5'5" and wore high heels).
The colour is really hard to describe as I chose a very very light pink with an ombre-type pink and grey mixture underneath. The under slip is 'oyster.' The professional pictures are the standard colours whereas mine was all one colour rather than different on top and bottom. Now it sounds hideous but it is really subtle.
I had so many compliments on my wedding dress and felt like a princess in it. The beading on the front is beautiful but not too garish or blingy and it would suit any kind of wedding whether it is boho, vintage or modern.

Alterations

I had some of the length off and also the waist pulled in but the waist wasn't cut so could easily be let out slightly.
