The Dress

This dress is by Eddy K, sold by BHLDN. I bought two dresses prior to falling in love with this one, and it fit like a GLOVE. Only minor alterations were needed, including a hem, bustle, and taking up the straps a tad. I also had some lace added to the bust area, which was all hand sewn from the inside and can easily be removed (no stitching on the front of the dress). The chest area was also kind of pointy, so the seamstress fixed the seam to make it sit more naturally on my chest.

The back detail... the shape... I could go on and on about why this dress is so amazing. I'm usually a 2/4 in dresses, so this dress runs pretty true to size. It's a somewhat "stretchy material" in the back detail, so it has some flex. It zippers up and then has beautiful buttons that cover the zipper.

From BHLDN website (I did not make any alterations to the hip/waist area, and the alteration that was made to the chest was just to smooth the "pointiness" - did not affect measurements.

Low hip- 37”

Our wedding day was warm, and this dress was so breathable and comfortable. I wish I could save it, but after buying three dresses I'm looking to recoup some of my money. I had the dress cleaned immediately after the wedding and there are no signs of wear on the bottom at all. Last two pictures show the gown after being cleaned.

Alterations

This dress has been hemmed to my sizing. I am 5' 4.5" and wore 2 inch heels with the dress.
