The Dress

I purchased my Watters gown from MaryMe Bridal in Orange County, California for a June wedding and had it cleaned and preserved, and while it is beautiful, someone out there would look fantastic in it on their special day.

The bodice is smooth and cut in a sweetheart neckline. I added straps because I personally did not feel comfortable without them. The seamstress sewed them in in a V-style in the back. These could be removed if preferred.

The horsehair skirt moves easily when walking and dancing, not too heavy compared to other dresses I had tried on. Undergarments are not easily seen through the material.

The belt is sewn-in to add some sparkle and detail to the dress.

Without customizations, the dress is most similar to the current Rowena dress available through Watters' website (https://www.watters.com/wtoo/products/rowena). The skirt is the exact same cut, but the bodice is more textured (lace) than my dress.

My measurements are 5'4, 34C, waist 28, hip 36. I recommend wearing a stick-on bra or none at all.

Customized with added straps and jeweled belt:
*originally strapless dress---can be worn strapless if removed.
*jeweled belt added to dress for additional cost.

Alterations

*Hemmed for my height (5'4) plus 2 inch heels.
*Bra cups added
*Altered/taken-in under the armpits for a better fitted bust.
