The Dress

This Galia Lahav "Norma" dress is truly indescribable - it is STUNNING. The pictures I have posted do not do it justice - it is just so beautiful in person. I wore this dress for my wedding just 1 week ago and it is currently at the dry cleaners. This dress is super glamorous with it's many details, sparkles, beading, low back and curve hugging silhouette. The dress is also very comfortable - I cannot stress that enough. It is easy to walk in and dance in due to it's ultra stretchy material. It is super flattering to wear, hugging every curve in just the right ways! I bought this dress because of the low back - it is open and low, followed by stretchy sparkle mesh (see photos) that just add to it's WOW factor. This same material is also on the sides of the dress. I received so many compliments on this dress and felt just beautiful in it.
I had the dress altered to fit me, so here are my stats: I am 5'8" and 130 lbs. I typically wear a size 4 in jeans and size small top. I am a 34B bust, but have added A cups to the dress which fit me well. I shortened the straps so it would feel very comfortable with the lower back. My waist is 27" around, and my hips are 37-1/2". As for the length of the dress, I had it altered so I could wear either heels (with some shoe showing) or flats (without shoe showing). I'm pretty tall naturally, (again, 5'8") so there's definitely some length to the dress!
The train for the dress is equally amazing with lots of sparkle, and I had a bustle added.
I would love to keep this dress, but it doesn't make sense to hang onto something so stunning only to sit in my closet - so I hope to find another bride to wear it on their wedding day!
The retail on this dress is $10,800. There aren't any flaws, stains or imperfections on this dress, and again is being professionally dry cleaned as we speak.
