The Dress

This stunning bridal gown is by the bespoke designer Sarah Arnett - a recent Vogue article said Dresses are In and Sarah Arnett's are It.

This elegant and sophisticated dress is made of pale champagne coloured heavy silk, with a soft lustre, a lavish feel and a fluid drape that resists wrinkles.

The design is simplicity itself. A deep vee to the front and back of the bodice is gently gathered into a soft waistband, and the skirt is a glorious full circle of silk - smooth and flattering over the hips and draping beautifully, with a fluid movement. The vee at the back finishes with a pretty silk rose, embellished with delicate little pearl and silver beads. From here falls the amazing train - a sweeping fan of Fortuny pleats that moves beautifully as you walk.

The dress, worn once, has been professionally dry cleaned and a couple of minor alterations to the waist and length were carried out at the designers studio.

Because of the design of the dress it could easily be altered to fit, but I would say it would fit a size 10/12, and 5'7 or shorter. The waist measures 14 side to side laid flat (approx) and the skirt is 57 long (approx)
