The Dress

The dress has a 2 part effect but it is all one gown- there is a soft mesh insert over the bust where the top layer sits.

This dress was perfect for me as it was SO COMFORTABLE whilst still providing just the right amount of style and elegance for the big day. I think it’s a great mix between a fresh, slightly fun style that is still elegant and sophisticated.

I would wear this dress every day if I could. There was no need for complicated underwear as the beautiful Mikado silk provides enough structure and support.

The dress comes in the original Jesus Peiro dress bag.

The dress has been professionally ‘wet cleaned’ using the gentle and effective, eco friendly Miele system.

There are, however, some marks on the inside hem still remaining (pictured). Nobody would see these, and the outside of the dress is unaffected.

The dress has been slightly altered- it has been taken up in length, although I am just over 5’7” and wore 2 inch heels (husband not the tallest so couldn’t go mad on the heels!) so there should still be a decent amount of length there unless you are taller.

The bust has also been let out slightly, which unless you are rather flat chested will be a welcomed adjustment- I am a 34C at a push yet it made such a change when this alteration was made.
